Terms of Service
Last updated: 4 November 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to all orders placed through the My Store online shop. Please read them carefully before ordering. By placing an order you accept these Terms. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
1. About us
This online shop is operated by [To be completed: Full legal name of the business and legal form], trading as My Store (“we”, “us”, “our”), [To be completed: Registered / trading address of the business]. You can contact us at [email protected]. Further company details are given in our Legal Notice.
2. Scope
These Terms apply to contracts for the sale of goods between us and our customers. Our shop is aimed at consumers, meaning individuals acting for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession. Where a provision applies only to consumers or only to business customers, this is stated. Different terms you use will not apply unless we expressly agree to them in writing.
3. Products
We take care to describe and photograph our products accurately. Colours on screen can vary slightly depending on your device, and natural materials can vary slightly in texture and shade. Such variations are not a defect. Please check the size information on each product page before ordering.
All products are offered while stocks last. We may limit the quantity of a product per order.
4. How the contract is made
- The products shown in our shop are not a binding offer by us but an invitation to you to place an order.
- You can review and correct your basket and all entries at any time before submitting your order. By clicking the final order and payment button you place a binding order for the products in your basket.
- We will confirm receipt of your order by email. This acknowledgement is not yet acceptance of your order. The contract is concluded when we send you an email confirming that your order has been accepted or dispatched, whichever is sent first.
- If we cannot accept your order (for example because a product is out of stock or a pricing error is obvious), we will tell you and refund any amount already charged without delay.
- The contract is concluded in English. We store the contract details; you will receive them in your order confirmation email, and you can view past orders in your customer account if you have one.
5. Prices and payment
- All prices are shown in the currency displayed in the shop and include VAT at the applicable rate, where VAT is charged.
- Delivery costs are not included in the product price. They are shown in the basket and at checkout before you place your order. See our Shipping Policy.
- For deliveries across the UK–EU border, import duties and taxes may apply: [To be completed: Who pays import duties and taxes on UK–EU deliveries, e.g. "Included in our prices" or "Payable by the customer on delivery"]
- You can pay with the payment methods offered at checkout. Payments are processed by our payment service providers; we do not store your full card details.
- Payment is due when you place your order. Your payment method is charged or authorised at checkout.
- If a price is obviously wrong (for example due to a technical error), we are not obliged to supply the product at that price. We will contact you, and you can confirm your order at the correct price or cancel it.
6. Discount codes and gift cards
Discount codes are valid only for the period and conditions stated with them, cannot be exchanged for cash and, unless stated otherwise, cannot be combined with other offers. Gift cards can be redeemed in our shop and cannot be exchanged for cash, except where the law requires it.
7. Delivery
We deliver to the addresses and countries offered at checkout. Delivery times and costs are explained in our Shipping Policy and shown at checkout. Unless another delivery date is agreed, we will deliver within 30 days of the contract being concluded. Risk of loss or damage passes to you when the goods are delivered to you or to a person you have named. Ownership passes to you once we have received full payment.
8. Your right to cancel
As a consumer you have a statutory right to cancel your contract within 14 days without giving any reason. Full details, including how to cancel, return costs and the model cancellation form, are in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
9. Faulty goods and your statutory rights
We are under a legal duty to supply goods that conform to the contract. Your statutory rights depend on where you live:
- UK customers: under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If they are faulty, you have a short-term right to reject them and get a full refund within 30 days of delivery; after that you can ask for a repair or replacement, and if that is not possible or fails, a price reduction or refund. You may have up to six years to bring a claim (five years in Scotland).
- EU customers: you benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity for at least two years from delivery, as provided by the law of your country of residence. You can ask for repair or replacement and, where those are not possible or fail, a price reduction or termination of the contract.
To report a fault, email us at [email protected] with your order number and, if possible, a photo of the fault. We will cover the reasonable cost of returning faulty goods. This is a summary only and does not limit your statutory rights. We do not offer any additional commercial guarantee unless one is expressly stated for a product.
10. Liability
- We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable.
- We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for breach of your statutory consumer rights, or under product liability law.
- We only supply products for domestic and private use. If you are a business customer, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.
- We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control. If such an event affects your order, we will contact you, and you may cancel and receive a refund for products you have paid for but not received.

12. Personal data
We process your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
13. Complaints and dispute resolution
If you have a complaint, please contact us first at [email protected]. We will try to resolve it quickly and fairly.
Alternative dispute resolution: [To be completed: Statement on whether you take part in alternative dispute resolution and, if so, the ADR provider]
The European Commission’s online dispute resolution (ODR) platform was closed on 20 July 2025, so we no longer link to it.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and any contract between us are governed by the law of [To be completed: Country whose law governs these terms, e.g. England and Wales]. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country. If you live in the UK, you may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland, depending on where you live.
15. Other important terms
If a court finds any part of these Terms invalid, the rest remains in force. We may update these Terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.
